Medicaid Work Rules Start 2027
Starting in 2027, most adults on Medicaid will need to work, go to school, or volunteer for at least 80 hours a month to keep their coverage. If you care for a child or a person with a disability, you may be exempt from this rule, but you will need to provide proof. Call your state Medicaid office soon to find out what to send them.
